Yûki Meguro

Profile

Yuki Meguro is an actor, singer and host in Japan. From an early age, he appeared as a child actor in films for various companies, but after starring in the first part of Toei's first TV drama, "風小僧" he devoted himself to his studies and entered Doshisha Junior High School, only to drop out in order to study abroad. He studied at high schools in Hawaii, St. Louis, and later Boston University's Department of Drama and the University of Southern California, but he also ended up dropping out. After returning to Japan, he starred in the movie "Murder in the Deep" (1969) and began his career as an actor in earnest. He has appeared in countless films and television dramas, both period and contemporary, and was nominated for an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actor in the film "Shōgun" (1980, USA). In addition to showing off his singing ability, which has led to records in musicals , he also hosts information programs. Born : 15th-Aug-1947

The Missing Heir

Ginpei, in an act of desperation to get money for his gravely ill mother, was laughed at and ended up fighting with the companions of the castle patrol Matsunomura Genba, including Onimatsu. He was later reconciled by the family elder Ishikawa Yoriimo, who also gave him some money. Returning home happily, Ginpei found that his mother had already passed away. Okin, the daughter of a soba shop owner, comforted the heartbroken Ginpei, who in gratitude became affiliated with the Ishikawa household. Ginpei, a ruffian but ordinarily a quiet and honest man, became favored by Yoriimo's wife Chiyo and their child Harunosuke, and he began to accompany Yoriimo to the castle. Inside the castle, the family elder Otsuki Gyobu was in cahoots with Yoshitada's favorite concubine, Osada no Kata, and together with the treacherous Genba, they were plotting to establish Osada no Kata's child, Seinosuke, as the heir.

The same night, Maruiya Genbē also received a visit from the woman's palanquin, and nearby, a man named Manbē was murdered. The detective Hayanawa Gohē concluded the murder was the work of a fox spirit, but another detective, Den Shichi, skeptical of this theory, noticed footprints on the tatami and decided to investigate further.

In the winter of 1945, Sakura the elephant gave birth to a baby elephant at Tokyo Fujimi Zoo under the watchful eye of the zookeeper Shota Tanabe.
